Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) during designated night shifts.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight on time, in perfect condition, and to the correct location.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat endorsement preferred).
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
