Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on highways and local delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure total compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at every stop.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and FMCSA regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required (Must have Medical Card).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
