Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients and ensuring deliveries are complete and correct.
- Route planning and time management to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures for delivery receipts as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Current state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
