Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload packages onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Customer Delivery: Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in New York and Ohio in a timely and professional manner.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS and route planning tools to ensure efficient delivery schedules and adherence to time windows.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues, and maintain a clean, organized vehicle interior.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and resolve delivery issues as they arise.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use a smartphone for navigation and logging.
- Reliability: A history of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
