Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate routes using GPS and road maps to avoid delays and traffic.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- US Citizenship or valid work authorization (No sponsorship available).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
