Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of cargo.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, driving, and conduct.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
