Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with care to ensure safety and integrity.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery details.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and professional work ethic.
