Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Portland, OR, and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle all delivery situations with care.
- Obey all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for each stop.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Class C or higher).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging purposes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local depot.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
