Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, food, or goods to designated locations using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Verify delivery details, collect payments, and obtain proper signatures where required
- Maintain clean and well-maintained vehicles through daily inspections and basic upkeep
- Provide exceptional customer service, including resolving delivery issues and answering inquiries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery technology
- Reliable transportation to/from work location (public transit available nearby)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory for all hires)
