Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Verify addresses and contact recipients to confirm delivery details.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each route to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, providing receipts to customers.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo using proper lifting techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle or company-provided vehicle.
