The Role
As a Night Shift Delivery Driver, you are the face of our company. You will ensure that our packages arrive safely and on time, providing exceptional service to our residential and business customers in the Minneapolis metro area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated addresses in Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Verify delivery details using handheld scanning devices and manage proof of delivery documents.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic computer skills for operating handheld delivery systems.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
