Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are properly secured and accounted for during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure accident-free driving.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery statuses and logs accurately.
- Handle cash and electronic payments for COD deliveries as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile delivery applications.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Good verbal communication skills and a professional appearance.
