Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently using hand trucks and dollies.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to time schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and residents.
- Inspect vehicle for any mechanical issues or damages before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including electronic proof of delivery (ePOD).
- Ensure the delivery vehicle remains clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing between 50 and 70 pounds repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and data entry.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
