As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our clients receive their packages safely and on time. Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages: Safely and efficiently handle packages using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS technology to plan optimal routes to ensure timely delivery of all parcels.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including residential and commercial clients.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Observe all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Package Handling: Handle all packages with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs and receipt of goods.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic Skills: Basic math skills for cash handling and route calculations.
- Communication: Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
- Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Schedule: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Age: At least 21 years of age.
