Job Summary:
As a Delivery Driver for Apex Logistics, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to our clients. You will represent our brand with professionalism, ensuring every delivery is handled with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues on-site when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent non-CDL commercial endorsement.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
