Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and route adjustments
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and local/state driving regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area roads and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
