Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods across Northern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Assist with warehouse duties when required (loading/unloading, inventory checks)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must be available for flexible shifts including early mornings, nights, and weekends
