Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated addresses in Boston, IL, and surrounding areas.
- Unload and load merchandise from the vehicle using hand trucks or dollies.
- Ensure all packages are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and providing excellent service.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
- Accurately handle cash or digital payments when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the local area or willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Reliable access to personal transportation for breaks and shift changes.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
