Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in excellent condition.
- Freight Handling: Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and all necessary paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and agents to resolve any delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- CDL A License: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR (Over-The-Road) driving experience.
- Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to meet DOT physical requirements, including lifting 50lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Equipment: Willingness to operate various equipment types, including dry van, reefer, or flatbed.
