Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently to deliver freight on schedule.
- Secure cargo properly using straps and pads to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff during loading and unloading.
- Manage route planning to avoid delays and ensure timely arrivals.
Qualifications
- Must currently own and operate a box truck (Class A or B CDL preferred).
- Valid commercial insurance and operating authority.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in the transportation industry.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
