Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck for local and regional freight deliveries.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOL) and delivery receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior.
- Communicate any delays or issues with dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and valid commercial insurance.
- At least 2 years of verifiable Box Truck or Straight Truck driving experience.
- Must own and maintain a reliable 26ft box truck.
- Familiarity with Southern California routes and geography is highly preferred.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
