Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to customers on time and in full.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and resolving delivery issues.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and DOT compliance regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting purposes.
