Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on multi-state routes
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient load planning
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Represent company professionally in customer interactions
- Participate in continuous safety improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate load securement equipment
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight stays
- Must pass comprehensive background check
