Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and freight across Omaha metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle fragile or hazardous materials with appropriate safety protocols
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments and maintain organized cargo spaces
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Omaha streets and surrounding Nebraska areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
