Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport cargo to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) to ensure hours of service compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secure and free from damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clear.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
