Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on various road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of freight to prevent damage.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Navigate delivery routes in Columbus and surrounding areas in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid US Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Reliable communication skills and a professional attitude.
