Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to their destination.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Complete accurate delivery receipts and electronic logging (ELD) documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Class A preferred for OTR, Class B for Local).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or DUIs in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
