Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across the region
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre-trip inspections and post-trip documentation
- Maintain electronic logging systems (ELD) compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Coordinate loading/unloading at various facilities
- Manage delivery schedules and route optimization
- Report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and logbooks
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
