Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) across regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklift certification
- Deliver time-sensitive shipments to Arizona and Southwest states
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Desert Star Transport with professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Forklift certification preferred
- Knowledge of Arizona/Southwest terrain and regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Digital logbook experience (eLDs)
