Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner on all road conditions.
- Transport freight to designated locations within the Charlotte metro area and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Must pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and handle cargo.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
