Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with precision using forklifts/pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in all weather conditions while meeting tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for weekend/overnight shifts
