Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance concerns
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Los Angeles metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
