Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and specialized hauling equipment on construction sites and urban routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch for efficient material transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic ordinances
- Secure and unload construction debris, aggregates, and bulk materials
- Document delivery manifests and report operational discrepancies
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 3 years' commercial dump truck experience
- Familiarity with Boston-area construction zones and weight restrictions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and digital route planning proficiency
- DOT medical certification and hazmat endorsement a plus
- Background check and drug screening required
