Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology and dispatch systems
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for timely loading/unloading operations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document all transport activities and report maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Familiarity with California roadways and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading tasks
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
