Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely across Virginia and North Carolina routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking and dispatch communication
- Maintain accurate logs of hours, mileage, and cargo documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficient in DOT compliance and electronic logging systems
- Strong navigation skills across Virginia and North Carolina
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- HAZMAT certification preferred
