Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for weekend delivery routes across Phoenix metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision and efficiency using provided equipment
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning and on-time delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Arizona traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and occasional holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
