Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with ELD systems
- Exceptional time management and customer service abilities
