Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points across the region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securement.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and pickups.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic laws, and route protocols.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving cargo up to 50lbs.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
