Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using standard equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and schedules.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of all transported goods.
- Uphold a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional roadways in the Cleveland area.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD).
