Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Deliver goods to designated locations on time and in pristine condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and route optimization requirements
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL Class A or B license (paid training provided)
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Strong time management and reliability for on-time deliveries
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Physical capability to handle freight up to 70 lbs
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
