Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on designated night routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DOT compliant).
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery logs accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and uphold company safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Previous experience in logistics or freight transport is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
