Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Must be available to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety procedures.
