Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Boston Metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients during deliveries
- Navigate Boston's complex roadways and traffic conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedule (7 PM - 5 AM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of Boston geography and delivery protocols
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 70 lbs
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
