Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and shipment tracking systems
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and emergency adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist in loading/unloading cargo when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of NM traffic laws and mountain driving
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
