Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, box trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT/ECDL) and all required paperwork.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (CDL required).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts and weekends as needed.
