Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks to transport freight safely and legally on designated routes.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and weight balance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex routes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
