Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Raleigh and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Handle fragile and time-sensitive shipments with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and navigation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
