Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Oregon and California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques per DOT regulations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Utilize GPS systems for route optimization and real-time communication
- Document all delivery transactions and submit paperwork daily
- Participate in quarterly safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Familiarity with Oregon/California highway systems
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
