Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on night routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand tools as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and delivery documentation (DOT compliant).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Must be available for night shift work (e.g., 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM).
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to Florida destinations from Atlanta.
