Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Maintain strict DOT compliance and meticulous logbook documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries with precision and professionalism
- Uphold company safety standards and defensive driving protocols
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- hazmat endorsement a plus
